Personalize Those Holiday & Christmas Greetings

By Posted in - Gift giving & Special Occasions on October 26th, 2015 2 Comments Holiday Christmas Greetings

Counting this week, we have eight weeks until the Christmas holiday arrives – a little less for Hannukah and a little more for Kwanzaa.

Everyone loves to receive cards! Even with all the electronic options, the post office is still flooded with delivering cards every year. So, what holiday & Christmas greetings will you be sending?

Personalizing Your Holiday & Christmas greetings!

Why not get a jump on this part of the holiday season? Here’s a few ideas to get you in the mood!

Holiday & Christmas greetings_photoFamily photo collage. This is a great time of year to share photos of you and your family and all the activities of 2015. Create a sheet and caption each photo, use decorative, holiday paper or background, and fun graphics. Then you can easily email or include this in a card to friends and family.

Postcards. A simple, flat printed photo card on glossy paper stands out among all the cards your friends and family will be receiving. Grab one of those family photos or use photos of each individual doing a favorite activity.

Traditional cards. Why buy a box of generic cards? Create your own card, one that reflects you and your family’s personality.

Electronic greetings. These can be fun to create – choose a ready-made template or often you can customize your own electronic greeting. Animation and music help set the tone for your holiday message.

This time of year so many businesses are having specials on holiday cards. Two of my favorites you might want to check out are: Snapfish and Picaboo.

Yes, it’s only a mere eight weeks until Christmas. So, time to start going through your photos, writing your family’s 2015 letter, and getting prepared for the upcoming holidays!
