Photo Gift Samples
I love tangible keepsakes! And, I love creating those keepsakes using photos. I wanted to share some recent photo gifts to get you thinking about what you can do to share your precious memories!
Vacation Photo Book
Photo books are a great way to display and share your photos, especially when it comes to those very special vacations. Your guests may even think your vacation photo book is a professional travel book because it is beautifully bound and professionally printed.
I put together this 86-page photo book showcasing my client’s trip to London and Ireland. We used cell phone pictures, customized each page spread and chose to use a nice thick paper stock. One of the customizations was bringing in a map to show the different locations they visited.
After sorting through literally hundreds of photos that came from different people, different countries and at different times, our client received a beautiful book that they will be able to treasure for a very long time.
BTW, we love using lay-flat pages! This allows the book to remain open and lay flat regardless of the number of pages and means that you can print a single image across a page spread without that darn gutter messing it up!
Photo Pillows and Blankets
Want to give a more unique gift? Try giving a photo pillow or blanket. We just love the fleece pillows and blankets from Collage.com.
This 16×16” pillow was created as an appreciation gift for a pastor highlighting a missionary trip to Bulgaria. We included photos of the group that went, pictures of Bulgaria and a quote.
Blankets make great “grandma” gifts. It is a single item that can showcase pictures of all the grandkids!
Want something smaller, more affordable for a larger group of people? Consider doing a photo magnet. These make the perfect gift for the fridge or office. You can
even make them into holiday cards, too!
